Minnehaha Falls
Huge waterfall located in South Minneapolis in a beautiful park. Make sure to stop at Sea Salt at some point for lunch/dinner! If you want a sweet treat, Dairy Queen is just kitty corner to the parking lot!
Minneapolis Institute of Art
If you love to look at beautiful works of art, stop by MIA! It's free and always will be. You could spend all day in there exploring all of the different exhibits. Parking can be a little hectic - we've found it easier to park a little further away and walk in.
Como Park Zoo & Conservatory
Wonderful zoo and conservatory that is free! Como Lake is nearby too!
Town Hall Lanes
A fantastic place with great food, beer (signatures and seasonal), cocktails, and bowling (10 lanes). Kelsey does bowling league here in the fall and winter!
Theodore Wirth Regional Park
If you need to escape out into nature, Theodore Wirth has some good trails! A little quieter without the hustle and bustle of Minnehaha Falls. A little further south of the park is the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary.
