First Date

09/19/2019

As many other couples these days, we met online through a dating app! After a couple of days of lighthearted conversations, we decided to officially meet up for a brunch date at Big Bad Breakfast on 280. We sat in that booth for hours, talking about all the real things in our lives and what we aspired to do in the future. When finally getting up to leave there was certainly no questioning whether there was to be a second date or not. To this day we still enjoy going out to different brunch spots, which always sparks memories of the very first time!

The Proposal

11/24/2020

We had made plans to go out to Cheaha Mountain early that morning to take pictures for a Christmas card (which now thinking about it we never ended up making lol). I had actually picked out the engagement ring, so there was always the thought that he could propose at any time. My sister, Sydney, had tipped me off that he was going to propose two days later at the Festival of Lights while we were ice-skating (a touching idea since we went ice-skating for the first meeting between me and Elle). Therefore, I was not expecting the love of my life to get down on one knee at the very edge of bald rock! It could not have been anymore perfect and the pictures turned out absolutely stunning, thanks to Hannah!
