Travel Note
For those of you who are family coming to our intimate ceremony and are driving please park at the Chicago History Museum Parking Lot (8 minute walk) or Lincoln Park Zoo Parking Lot (10 minute walk). Please look up "Bridge Over South Pond" as your destination from your parking location this will take you to our ceremony location in the most efficient path. For everyone getting dropped off by Uber/Lyft/Taxi/Other: please set your destination as "Farm in the Zoo" (Lincoln Park Petting Zoo) and proceed across the bridge over south pond to get to the Honeycomb (People's Gas Pavilion).
Travel Note
If you are driving, we recommend buying parking prior to arriving with SpotHero. It is a really simple app / website that allows you to get the best prices on parking in the city. SpotHero is utilized by most garages and parking lots in the city, and we use it frequently. It will save you money, especially in busy areas and for nicer garages. Simply type in your hotel or address you are staying at to find the closest and best options near-by, enter your date of arrival and departure, and then scan the QR code provided by SpotHero when you arrive and depart.
Flight
The larger of the two Chicago airports. This airport has several airlines it services but its a hub for both United and American Airlines. It is about 45 minutes to the city by Uber/Lyft or Taxi. If you are savvy with the "L", the blue line connects to this airport - however if you are not we advise travel by Uber/Lyft or Taxi.
Flight
Smaller of the two Chicago airports, this airport is about 45 minutes from downtown Chicago. Orange line for the "L" connects to Chicago's downtown aka the loop. However if you are unfamiliar with a subway system we advise taking an Uber/Lyft or Taxi.
