What will the weather be like?

Answer

Prepare for Colorado type weather where the weather could range from 30 degrees to 80 degrees . There will be heaters in the wedding area, but as the sun sets there may be a dramatic drop in temperature and a jacket is encouraged.

How bad are the roads?

Answer

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT attempt to drive up the mountain in a small rental car. There will be vans to shuttle everyone to and from the event. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early, and keep in mind the drive will take at least an hour to get all the way up the mountain from Vail center.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4pm. Please arrive at the hotel to board the shuttles traveling up the mountain to the venue by 2:30 pm.

Are there any important rules to keep in mind?

Answer

Alcohol may not be brought in for guest or personal consumption. There will be an open bar. Smoking marijuana, even though legal in Colorado, is NOT allowed at Piney River Ranch.
