Below are details on our hotel blocks and some quick travel tips and tricks for the Chicagoland area to help facilitate a stress-free stay. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to either of us!

Flight

O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

O'Hare International Airport is the most widely used and largest airport in the Chicagoland area. It is located about 18 miles northwest of the city. Many airlines have a major presence at O'Hare, including United, American, Delta, and many international airlines. You can commute to and from the airport by Uber, Lyft, taxi, rental car, or the CTA Blue line. To get into the heart of the city by the CTA train, you will follow signs within the airport to take you to the CTA transit to city. You will take the Blue line (towards Loop) and get off at the one of the multiple Loop stops (first of which being Clark and Lake). From there, you can transfer to other train lines (color coded) or use another transportation means to get to your final destination. Note: Use a map app (i.e. Google Maps or the Transit App) as needed to guide you to throughout your transit. They provide accurate ETAs, traffic trends, etc. and find the quickest route to your destination, public transit routes included.

Flight

Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW)

Chicago Midway International Airport is one of two main airports in the Chicagoland area, albeit much smaller (and less crowded) than O'Hare. It is primarily a Southwest and Delta hub. It is located about 12 miles southwest of the city. You can commute to and from the airport by Uber, Lyft, taxi, rental car, CTA bus, or the CTA Orange line. To get into the heart of the city by the CTA train, you will follow signs within the airport to take you to the CTA transit to city. You will take the Orange line (towards Loop) and get off at the Harold Washington Library-State/Van Buren.

House Or Rental

Airbnb

Remember there are alternative (and sometimes more affordable) ways to stay in the city, Airbnb being one of them. We use Airbnb for almost every trip we go on and can only speak highly of the homes and hosts we've experienced over our stays. Airbnb is also great when looking to accommodate a larger group all under one roof.
