Maid of Honour
Kelsey’s best friend. We met while sitting behind each other in our first maths class in year 8. We instantly bonded over a cheesy Mayday Parade song and survived high school together with quite a few questionable hair styles along the way. Kat is a registered nurse and the kindest person in the world (basically the human form of sunshine)!
Lauren
Bridesmaid
One of Kelsey’s other best friends. We first met as teenagers at a family friend’s house and then fate brought us together again while working at NCI. Lauren is an SSO and is in the last few months of her degree in Education. She loves to bake and cook, has a heart of gold and will bend over backwards for anyone.
Carly
Bridesmaid
One of Kelsey’s other best friends. We met in 2014 while working at NCI together as receptionists and have been inseparable ever since. Carly is a Personal Assistant, a foodie, addicted to the gym, and loves a bit of G&T. She is unapologetically herself and always thinks of ways to make other’s smile.
Sarah
Bridesmaid
Kelsey’s (almost) sister in law. Sarah instantly introduced me as ‘Aunty Kelsey’ to her kids – she must have had a good feeling about me! She organised my first full day as a TRT and we’ve been working together at Northfield Primary ever since. She’s a passionate Science teacher, an absolute gym junkie and is always up for a new adventure.
Jack
Best Man
Jack and I have been friends since 2008 when we met through mutual friends. We found a common interest in music and a love of pop punk. Jack and I have since played in a band together, touring the country multiple times. We travelled to Japan and different snow fields across Australia, and have had many disagreements over which South Australian footy team is best (clearly the crows). Jack is now an audio engineer in Melbourne with his girlfriend Caitlin and plays guitar and keys for Paradise Club.
Tom
Groomsman
Tom is another long time friend. We have played in sporting teams, travelled to Japan and the snowfields with Jack and had many nights out together. When Tom isn’t busy being an Oral Health Therapist, we like to go rock climbing and Kels and I frequently catch up with Tom, his wife Haylee and son Charlie for dinners and Mexican nights.
Peter
Groomsman
Leigh’s oldest brother. Pete is an electrician and runs his own very successful business. He is a father to three beautiful kids and is almost as passionate about them as he is the Port Adelaide Football Club. He is also a gym fanatic and is definitely not the most competitive one at the gym…. Pete was my first basketball coach, and my teammate up until just last year. We both enjoy trying out all sorts of craft beers and a few sippers of port.
Scott
Groomsman
Leigh’s brother. Scott and I shared an apartment for 9 years and now also work as fire systems technicians together. Scott is a fully fledged gym junkie and doesn’t mind the odd scoop of pre workout. We both share a love of the Adelaide Football Club and playing Supercoach, though unfortunately for Scott, he’s not quite as good at it as I am 😉
