Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kelsey Forgacs and Korrie Barnes
We love Asheville! Spending time in the mountains and this funky little town always rejuvenates us. We hope you find some time this weekend to unplug and explore!

Graveyard Fields

Blue Ridge Parkway, milepost 418,

This is quite literally where our adventures began. Days after we started dating we drove to Graveyard Fields for some middle-of-the-night star gazing. We ventured into the darkness and laid next to the waterfalls with our eyes turned upward at one of North Carolina's top stargazing locations. The daytime views are equally as beautiful!

Blue Ridge Parkway Drive

Mosey on up to the Parkway for a relaxing drive with stunning mountain views. There are overlooks and hikes scattered throughout. We spent 7 days traveling the Parkway and only saw a glimpse of its glory, you won't be disappointed!

Drink Craft Beer

Asheville is jam packed with breweries. Do yourself a favor and try some local craft brews while you're in town! Some of our favorites are The Funkatorium, Asheville Brewing Co, The Thirsty Monk, Sierra Nevada, and Highland Brewing.

Fill Your Belly

There are no bad decisions when it comes to eating in Asheville. Looking for breakfast? Head over to Tupelo Honey or Mayfel's. Pizza? Mellow Mushroom and Asheville Pizza Co. have our vote. Dinner and drinks? All the breweries have delicious food and even better beer.
