August 1, 2019 - approximate date when we officially meet in passing (in the Starbucks lobby) but the only person who really remembers it is Kaitlin (Kelsey's sister) August 12, 2019 - approximate date when we start working together and becoming friends at the Winter Garden Village Starbucks March 2020 - CoVid happens... Kelsey gets stuck in Minnesota, Kieran stays in Florida... we briefly lose touch October 25, 2020 - Kelsey makes it back to Florida, and we decide to catch up over coffee/breakfast! Kieran: "even though Alysia can't come till later, do you want to do breakfast or coffee or something over there after church tomorrow earlier in the day?" (Yes, we really did go back and find the exact text) November 2020-May 2021 - We (featuring Alysia) get together for weekly coffee at Piccolo in Winter Garden which quickly turns into weekly Farmer's Market trips which quickly turns into, "What are you doing after work on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday?" May 31, 2021 - Our first kiss! June 1, 2021 - We start dating casually but agree not to tell anyone right away (to keep things less "complicated") June 18, 2021 - We both cave and realize we couldn't possibly keep this to ourselves and decide to tell people we're dating - no one believes us, but that's what we get for not sharing it right away and constantly joking about dating before we actually were! July 3, 2021 - Kelsey moves to Colorado August 6-12, 2021 - Kieran's first trip to Colorado! October 8, 2021 - Our first "I love you"! Kieran said it first in Kelsey's 2009 Honda Pilot in front of the Serena Williams mural in downtown Denver while we were on our way to a cabin in the mountains! November 2021-January 2023 - Navigating a long-distance relationship is tough, but we do our best to see each other every month in one place or another. We travel together in Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, New Mexico, Illinois, and got to meet each other's *people*! March 8, 2023 - Kieran flies out to Colorado to celebrate Kelsey's birthday AND move her back to Florida! March 13-17, 2023 - We road trip from Colorado to Florida with stops in Missouri, Tennessee, and Georgia along the way! March 17, 2023 - We move in together (shoutout to Drew for helping us unpack the U-Box)! May 27, 2023 - Kieran asks if we could get to the Farmer's Market early and park in a new spot. Kelsey agrees because, why not?! We pick up coffee at Piccolo, chat with our friend Goose, and make our way to the Market. On the way, Kieran asks if we could stop by the fountain for a second. While we're chatting (and Kieran is frantically grabbing things from his tote bag), Kieran takes out a ring pop and reminds Kelsey of the time before we were dating when she gave it to him and said she would marry him once he got his Master's. Kelsey takes the ring pop AND STARTS EATING IT (major facepalm, but she's got a sweet tooth, that one). Kieran then takes out another ring, gets down on one knee, and asks Kelsey to marry him! She screams, "YES!" and then Kieran turns around and gestures to a large group of people running AT us: "Aaaaand here's your family!" Tears, laughter, and more screams all follow as Kelsey realizes they've been in on it for a *while*. We get to celebrate our engagement with both of our families, and nothing could be sweeter than that! October 26, 2024 - We say, "I do!" in front of all of our favorite people and get to continue our love story!
