FAQs

Question

What are the COVID-19 protocols?

Answer

Given the continuous development of *YOU KNOW WHAT*, we ask that guests be vaccinated or test negative for COVID prior to attending the event. This is especially important to us for our loved ones who will be traveling longer distances, those with underlying health conditions, and those who may be more at-risk. We are relying on our friends and families to keep each other safe as we celebrate together. We will be following all state and local policies at the time of the event. Currently, face masks and social distancing are not required but are highly recommended. Please stay home if you feel ill or have had a recent known or suspected exposure. Thank you for your understanding. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Using the RSVP link above, please RSVP no later than February 10, 2023. Please note that the RSVP link will not be available until late 2022.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you know that you will not be able to attend, please let us know by completing your RSVP as soon as possible. Please note that the RSVP link will not be available until late 2022.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive around 4:00pm to find parking, check your coat, and get settled in your seat. Please consider Northway traffic and possible winter weather conditions when planning your travel.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Canfield Casino reserves the section of E Congress Street within Congress Park for our guests; however, parking is limited to approximately 50 vehicles. If you are staying in a nearby hotel (see travel & stay page), the hotel will provide your parking and the venue is a short walk away.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be fully indoors. The weather in Upstate New York in March can be unpredictable; please plan accordingly. The venue will have a coat check for your convenience.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are ready to celebrate in style! Formal attire is requested for the ceremony and reception. We do want you to feel comfortable, so please use your best judgement.

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We have done our best to consider those who are gluten free (GF), vegetarian (V), vegan (VG), and those with peanut and tree nut allergies when planning the menu. You will find GF, V, and VG options at all times throughout the celebration, including the hors d'oeuvres and cocktail hour stations, the plated dinners, and dessert. The open bar, including liquor, beer, and wine, will also include GF drink options. Please be sure to include any dietary restrictions or allergies in your RSVP so that we can make our caterer aware and accommodate your needs.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your children, our wedding will be an adult only event. We appreciate you making child care arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we prefer it to be only you.

Question
