Wait, what? You're getting married in Scotland? Why?

Answer

Scotland is a place that we have both wanted to visit for a long time, Kelsey for the history and Jordan for the whiskey. Late last year, we decided that we had waited long enough to tie the knot and wanted to make an adventure out of it. We've since learned that Scotland is a popular wedding destination as it is easy for foreign nationals to have legal ceremonies anywhere they want. You can get married in a church or a field of your choosing!

So can we come?

Answer

As much as we would like to share this day with all of our family and friends, we are keeping the actual wedding very small. Just our parents and Jordan's sister and her family will be there with us. We want to escape the hoopla that traditionally surrounds weddings and just spend that time with each other enjoying the day to its fullest!

We are working on ways to share in the celebration with friends and family back home. Please stay tuned for details!

Where are you getting married?

Answer

Forter Castle in Perthshire! We will be staying on the property for an entire week exploring the surrounding countryside and enjoying each other's company with good food and good whiskey.

Please tell me there will be pictures!

Answer

We will have both a photographer and videographer for the wedding day so don't worry, there will be plenty to share once we return!
