Sabino Canyon Recreation Area
Sabino Canyon Recreation Area is a great way to see the beautiful Tucson landscape! Narrated tram tours are offered, as well as plenty of walking, hiking, and biking trails! If the water level is cooperating, there are waterfalls, creeks, and swimming holes too!
La Encantada
Upscale outdoor mall with plenty of stores, restaurants, plus a grocery store. It's only a few minutes from the venue, and if you're staying at La Paloma you can take their free shuttle service over there!
Tohono Chul | Gardens, Galleries, and Bistro
Beautiful desert botanic gardens, as well as a bistro with great breakfast and lunch options!
Mount Lemmon
One of our favorite places, Mount Lemmon is the highest peak of the Santa Catalina Mountains, offering a gorgeous scenic drive with plenty of stunning views and trails to enjoy! For the ideal experience, we recommend taking the full scenic drive up to Summerhaven, stopping along the way at Windy Point to see the incredible view and snap some pictures, and grabbing a fresh baked giant cookie at the Cookie Cabin in Summerhaven!
Trail Dust Town
Travel back to the old west, complete with gold panning, wild west shows and more! Plus, visit to check out Tucson's iconic Cowboy Steak House Pinnacle Peak, or grab breakfast at Millie's Pancake House
Bisbee Breakfast Club
One of our favorite local breakfast spots! Original to Bisbee AZ, this location is right down the street from La Paloma
El Charro Cafe Ventana
A great local Tucson- style Mexican restaurant! Fun Fact: El Charro was opened by Monica Flin in 1922, and is the country's Oldest Mexican Restaurant in continuous operation by the same family.
Piazza Gavi
Local family-owned Italian restaurant, long loved by the Compton family and in particular by Kelsey's grandmother Joy. Kelsey always recommends the Tortellini Rosa with Peas
RA Sushi Bar Restaurant
Kelsey's favorite sushi spot in the area, located in La Encantada Mall
New York Pizza
This on is a bit of a drive from the venue, but worth it! New York Pizza is Jonas' all time favorite pizza, and the sight of our first date!
