Natasha Lubinski

Bridesmaid

Tasha and Kelsey met in Dr. Hironaka's Chem 171 class their freshman year in Lyman Briggs College at MSU, and the rest, as they say, is history! From attending MSU football and basketball games, to TA-ing for chemistry and biology courses, to their famous IM volleyball and basketball exploits, to vet school and beyond, these two have done a lot of life together! The amazing bond formed through the trials and tribulations of undergrad and vet school courses has only grown stronger as they have continued on in their veterinary careers. Today, Kelsey and Tasha enjoy taking girl trips as often as they can, going to the Zoo to see the newest babies, and chatting about all the gross veterinary things in front of their significant others (usually while eating, of course ;-) )

Tara DeLand

Bridesmaid

Tara has been Kelsey's sister-in-law for over 12 years now, and they've had some great adventures together! The most memorable trip was Kelsey's last year of vet school, when Seth, Tara, and Kelsey traveled to California and explored the amazing natural beauty of Yosemite, the California coastline, and the redwoods! In addition to their love of adventures, Kelsey and Tara share a common love for anything Harry Potter and puppy dogs.

Abby DeLand

Bridesmaid

Abby and Kelsey became sisters-in-law in 2014, but they met many years prior, probably at one of the infamous house parties at Trevor's Michigan Avenue house at MSU. Or maybe they met at karaoke on a Thursday night at Crunchy's? Or maybe a tailgate by Munn Field? It's hard to say, but nonetheless, they've both shared a big chunk of their lives in East Lansing, and have many great memories from that time together. Kelsey and Abby also share a love of great food, and if you check our text messages back and forth, a big chunk of them would be recipes!

Harrison Hobart

Groomsman

John and Harrison have known each other for the better part of 9 years. They worked together at Midwestern BioAg for a couple of years, but really started to get to know one another in 2019, when the infamous Cleveland Rocks friend group started making an annual trip to Grafton, Ohio, in which Harrison and his cousin Adam were renting a home together while working out in Ohio. John and Harrison hit it off with their passion for biological agriculture, and the shenanigans that would take place during the yearly weekend trips to Cleveland solidified that bond. Though they work for different agriculture companies today, they talk frequently about the ebbs and flows of their respective daily lives on the road in the crazy world of agriculture.

Kyle Schunk

Groomsman

John met Kyle his first night at MSU at FarmHouse Fraternity in 2014. As John didn’t really know anyone there, Kyle made sure John felt welcomed at home. They really hit it off when Kyle was looking for a place to stay during the summer of 2015, when he had an internship opportunity for Ellsworth Farmers Exchange in Gaylord & Mancelona. With the blessing of John’s parents, John and Kyle took a trip to Pete and Jill’s lakehouse in Gaylord to see if that would work for a temporary living situation that summer. Safe to say, it was sufficient for Kyle. From that point on, Kyle would be sure to get a hold of John every chance he had when he would travel to the Thumb area for work, typically staying at the Hotel, Motel, Creguer Inn (John’s House). Being involved together in Farm Bureau and the FarmHouse Alumni Association Board, and both spending a lot of time on the road with their jobs, the conversations they share are truly endless.

Christian Tollini

Groomsman

John also first met Christian through FarmHouse Fraternity at MSU in 2014. A trip to Clemson University for spring break 2014 really broke the ice for these two, and their friendship grew from that point forward. With their common love of MSU football and basketball, Case IH tractors, farming, and the occasional bar hop, these two have been able to maintain a very close relationship, despite one being situated in northeast Michigan (Christian) and the other being situated in southeast Michigan (John). Any time John would make the trek north of US-10, you bet he was getting a hold of Christian to have the opportunity to stop in and say hi, and talk about life. “Two simple people solving the world’s problems,” as they like to say! To make things better, Christian and John now get to work directly with one another in their respective lines of work.
