We first met while we were both attending Grand Canyon University. Our first date was one to remember as we only said about 10 words total to each other. We were both extremely nervous and wanted everything to be perfect. As for our second date it was one people write about in books, a night filled with love, laughter, great food, and sparks that flew immediately. Shortly after that life had some unexpected journeys as the COVID pandemic hit, causing the first 8 months of our relationship to be long distance. As many say distance makes the heart grow fonder, this could not be more true for us. Through so many tough adventures along the way God has blessed us to celebrate with our cherished friends and family to finally get to the day we say "I do".

October 29, 2022 was the night of our friends annual halloween party. That day we went to Prescott, AZ to pick up Joes younger brother to join us for the party. Early that morning we got some coffee and breakfast and decided to take a hike across Willow Lake. After walking to a beautiful spot under a tree, Joe knelt down on one knee and from there our lives would never be the same as we were were now engaged.
