According to Google: the 17-Mile Drive is a renowned scenic coastal route in Pebble Beach, California, running between Pacific Grove and Carmel-by-the-Sea. According to us: a stunning gorgeous drive that goes by lots of scenic beaches and forests (for Kelsey) and lots of expensive golf courses (for Jim). A great way to see the beauty of the coastline. Highly recommend stopping by the Pebble Beach clubhouse for lunch and/or souvenirs! Drive can take 1-3 hours depending on how long you take at each viewpoint.
We went here after our 2024 marathon and it might have just been the endorphins (or having run 26 miles) but the sundaes here are LIFE CHANGING. Enjoy!
The cutest little town about a 20 minute drive from our venue. There are frequent celeb sightings, including Taylor Swift(!!!), due to its ~Europe in California~ feel. Lots of fun shops, great coffee and even better food!
Monterey is one of the best whale-watching spots in the country. Humpbacks, dolphins, otters -- it’s like National Geographic, but irl. Bring your camera! There are a ton of companies and places that offer trips of various lengths and takeoff points, so google will tell you which option is best for you!
You didn't think we'd have a wedding activity list in Big Sur without PEBBLE BEACH, did you?!! If you golf here wedding weekend, pls don't tell Jim until after. Thank you for your service
An iconic part of the California coastline. We highly recommend taking a drive down Highway 1 and enjoying the scenic views!
