You can rent a car from either airport. There are also limited Lyft and Uber options. If you want to feel like a local, you can rent bikes to get around and see the sights!
Expect warm temperatures (75-80 degrees) and sunshine, with a chance of humidity. Outdoor events may be breezy near the water and there’s always a chance of rain, so check the weather and plan accordingly. The wedding ceremony and reception are on a boat. Please plan accordingly with layers, as it may be warm and humid, and temperatures will likely drop at night out on the water.
There is both inside and outside seating aboard the Spirit of Harbour Town. If rain is in the forecast, there's no need to worry. The boat is spacious and well-equipped to handle various weather conditions. In case of heavy winds, we'll remain safely docked. Should rain occur, our vessel offers comprehensive protection with sealed windows and covered areas, ensuring a comfortable experience for everyone on board.
The dress code for our wedding is beach formal. Think elevated spring/summer attire; maxi or floor-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits or dress pants with button-downs. No need for tuxedos or gowns, but please dress to impress. Since the ceremony will be out on the water we recommend choosing light, breathable fabrics and appropriate footwear for walking up and down steps on the ship. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing colors reserved for the bride: whites, ivories, or creams.
