Montrose Airport (MTJ)
Telluride is accessible by a few airports, but Montrose Airport (MTJ) is the least expensive. It's located 1.5 hours from the town of Telluride. You can click here to see the various direct flights to Montrose Airport.

Telluride Airport (TEX)
Telluride Airport (TEX) is definitely the most convenient airport but is more expensive. If you choose to fly into Telluride, you'll want to connect in Phoenix (PHX) or Denver (DEN) and fly on Denver Air Connection to Telluride Airport (TEX).
Rental Car
Telluride Express
You do not need a rental car when visiting Telluride unless you would like to explore the region or have a car to do grocery runs. To get from Montrose or Telluride Airport, we recommend booking a shuttle with Mountain Limo or Telluride Express. It's about a 20 minute drive to any hotel/home rental from Telluride Airport and a 1.5 hour drive to Telluride from Montrose. Telluride Express has less expensive shuttles with larger vans and buses but you have to be patient as you'll participate in public drop offs for all other guests if you're in a public shuttle. That said, you can book a private shuttle with Telluride Express as well. Mountain Limo is the more expensive option but the service is higher end and they offer smaller shuttles for private bookings.

Should we stay in the town of Telluride or Mountain Village??
Telluride is a situated in a beautiful box canyon 8,754' above sea level in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. The remoteness of these mountains is what makes Telluride such a special place and one of the reasons we are choosing to share it with you all on our special day. Telluride has a long rich history and in known for its world class outdoor activities... The ski resort divides the historic Town of Telluride and Mountain Village, but they are conveniently connected by a 15 minute free (and scenic) gondola running from 6:30am until midnight seven days a week. There are some great accommodations in Mountain Village and you can access Telluride by the free gondola, but you have to be on the gondola by midnight and the wedding ceremony + reception will be in the town of Telluride.

The New Sheridan Hotel
For the sake of convenience, we definitely recommend staying in the Town of Telluride, if possible. The New Sheridan Hotel is one of our favorite hotels in Town with a rich history and wonderful boutique-style hotel rooms. It's also the hotel that is connected to the reception venue :) As of right now we have 26 rooms blocked with a discount code added if you mention the Angelotta/Kane wedding when you call. Telluride Town Park Campground
For those who love the outdoors, the Telluride Town Park Campground is a great place to stay during our wedding weekend! Nestled along the San Miguel River and just a short walk to downtown, this scenic campground offers a true mountain experience. There are quality restrooms and showers for your convenience.
