Kelsey and I became friends our senior year of high school in math class. I can't even count on my hands how many times we got in trouble for talking too much while we were supposed to be doing our classwork. When we graduated, we went our separate ways and didn't think much of it. Little did we know that this would become the very foundation that would be laid to restart our friendship nearly five years later. Kelsey was back in town teaching special needs at the very high school we graduated from when I decided to ask him how things were going. He seemed eager to catch up and I invited him to come walk Little Mulberry Park with me. Kelsey is not a hiker, but he was a real trooper and stuck the whole five miles out with me (5- how ironic!). It was pretty evident our personalities picked right back up where we left them, and Kelsey soon after wanted to take me on a date. Since then, we have been two peas in a pod, and quickly knew we were each others match for forever. Our fondness for one another quickly grew into love for each other, and now we couldn't be more excited to be each others life long best friend. Who knew two completely different people from high school who had a math class together would need just a little time, patience, and a surprising meet up to finally bring things full circle for the two of us!
