I would like to gift a check for the wedding, but who should I make it out to?

Answer

First of all, thank you so much! To save checkbook pages, there are cash gift options on the registry page that you could contribute to (the house, honeymoon, and board games won't pay for themselves!). However, if you would like to provide a physical check, please make it out to Gaurav Aggarwal OR Kelsey McLennan. We've heard so many horror stories of newlywed couples unable to cash their wedding gift checks because of difficulty with the name change. Addressing the check to "Gaurav Aggarwal or Kelsey McLennan" means that we do not need to have changed names or opened a joint bank account yet. Thank you again!
