Kelsey and her sister wanted to go to NYC for one of Billy Joel’s last concerts of his residency at the garden. They picked her sister Mackenzie’s birthday as the occasion. They spent the day in the city, and went to the Dear Irving on the Hudson for pre-show cocktails to celebrate her sister’s birthday. To Kelsey’s surprise we weren’t there just to celebrate her sister but it would be the backdrop to her own proposal. Gary proposed to Kelsey on a balcony of the restaurant over looking the Hudson River before they went to the concert.
