Nantahala River Rafting
Love the excitement of a guided rafting trip but ready to chart your own course? Try a raft rental or ducky rental on the Nantahala River! Paddle at your own pace, stopping to swim, surf, or simply enjoy the fall foliage and mountain scenery. Whether you choose a traditional raft or an inflatable kayak “ducky” (single or tandem), you’ll get a pre-trip orientation, a professionally maintained boat, and a convenient shuttle to the "put-in". Perfect for practicing your skills and experiencing bouncy waves and mild rapids on your own terms. NOC is one of the only outfitters where rental trips end right back at the main outpost, with no wait times for a second shuttle. Age Requirements Apply: 7+ Previous whitewater experience is recommended. Book ahead and save $5 per person!
Mountaintop Zip Line
The Mountaintop Lite includes the first five zips (excluding the Mega Zip) and a short exit hike of about 7-8 minutes which spans 0.19 miles with a 48-foot elevation gain. Expect some uneven terrain with rocks and roots. This tour is led by two guides.
