Franz Josef Strauß International Airport, München (MUC)

We suggest using the Hopper app to watch flight prices and Student Universe to book the flight. Student Universe is a third party type of website but they often offer the cheapest flight prices and I've personally booked all of my flights to Germany using them without any problems! Flying into Franz Josef Strauß International Airport will be easiest but if you're up for an adventure and a train ride you can check out surrounding areas such as Frankfurt.

Please let us know ASAP if you would like to stay here. Domi will get a discount which will bring the cost down to about $50 per night depending on the type of room you'd like. There are a few rules/restrictions for staying here so please check out their webpage and turn on the english translation for your computer (if needed).

Airbnb

Airbnb is a great way to stay in a local home and make your stay in Munich more personal. Often you can rent out entire apartments so you'd have a kitchen, living room, wifi, etc... Prices vary but Airbnb will most likely be cheaper than most hotels around the area- Check it out!

We are still working on figuring out the best option for "day of" transportation for out of town guests. Our options include shuttle service, subways/trains, carpooling, and cabs. Please keep checking in as the day gets closer- we plan to update this info once we make a decision!
