What are the Covid precautions you are taking for the wedding?

Answer

We are requiring that all attendees be vaccinated. If you have not been vaccinated and have been invited to the wedding, please contact us. We are also working with our vendors to ensure that all safety procedures are being followed and we are working on having event staff who are all fully vaccinated.

What is the venue like?

Answer

We are holding both the ceremony and the reception at the Henneberry Farm in Pompey NY, owned by the Lawyer family (think rolling hills and bucolic vistas). The Ceremony will be held in the large field at the top of a hill so come prepared. For our more senior guests there will be a golf cart to ferry you to the top of the hill. The Reception will be under a tent in the lower field.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We're aiming for a "dressy causal" wedding, but feel free to dress up! We would advise against heels due to the location of the ceremony.

What food will be served?

Answer

Our reception will be catered by the Flying Pig Roast. They will be providing a whole pig, BBQ chicken and a variety of sides including their famous bruleed maple cornbread and a charcuterie board with local cheeses and meats.

What's the bar situation?

We will be serving a variety of beers and wine.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception tent where we will be serving appetizers and beverages.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is RSVP only but if we've missed anyone special please contact us at safranoconnor@gmail.com and we will see if we can accommodate another guest.

What do I do if I can't make it to the wedding in person?

Answer

Please let us know if you will not be able to make it to the in person ceremony and we will send you the link for our Zoom wedding. There will be both a live stream and a curated recording that will be available after the wedding.

Which ceremony have I been invited to, the in-person or the virtual?

Answer

Due to Covid we have had to restrict our guest list to a limited number of people, if you have received a Paperless Post invite by email please attend the Zoom festivities. We are excited to stream them with you. Paper invitations have been sent via USPS mail for the in-person ceremony. Either way, please RSVP.
