Everyone knows our story is one of a kind. 2009 Darek asked me to be his prom date and ever since, we knew we had something special!

It all started in 2009. Nearly 10 years later, Darek and I went on a trip to one of my favorite places in Europe. We started by exploring Zurich and Lucern in Switzerland then made it to Dubrovnik, Croatia. Unfortunately, Darek ran into some issues and lost his luggage for the entire first day in Croatia. We arrived late that night and decided to wake up early that morning; little did I know, he had a proposal up his sleeve. We woke up at 7am and walked down to the Old Town waterfront. He stopped me at the most beautiful spot and asked to take me picture. The next thing I knew, he was next to me on one knee. "Kelsey, you're my lost luggage lamb, travel buddy and I love you with all my heart. Will you marry me?" Easiest answer of my life. Yes! Darek Robertson I cannot wait to marry you!
