Seating will open at 1:00 pm, and the ceremony will start at 1:30 pm. We request that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony.
In case of rain, snow, or polar vortex, our ceremony will take place indoors at The Maryland Zoo Mansion House. All timing will remain the same!
The dress code is semi-formal/garden party. We threw in the “garden party” because we love fun colors and florals. We hope you’ll wear what makes you feel good!
Yes, there will be parking available at The Maryland Zoo Mansion House as well as parallel parking along Mansion House Drive.
No, the ceremony will take place at The Maryland Zoo Lakeside Pavilion on Mansion House Drive and the reception will take place just up the hill at the Mansion House. You will not need to enter the zoo to get to the ceremony or reception.
Even though our wedding will not be in the zoo, we do recommend that everyone visits the zoo at some point! The zoo will be open before our ceremony as well as from 10 am to 4 pm on the days before and after.
We’re so excited to have a big brunch (though technically it’s at linner time) with our friends and family! We’ll have some of our brunch favorites with mimosas, Bellinis, wine, and beer.
Our reception is limited to invited guests. However, if you’re looking for childcare during the wedding, please let us know! We are happy to reach out to Kelsey’s former soccer players.
