Turn right on Hwy. 126. Go through the community of Whiteville. Just after Whiteville, you’ll see a Wildcat Shoals Fishing Access sign pointing right. At that sign turn right on County Road #7. Follow #7 for several miles, eventually going down a long hill and dead-ending at County Road #1. Turn right on County Road #1 (Denton Ferry Road). Go about five miles and watch for the signs for County Road #703. #703 is a loop, so there are two entrances to it. Turn left at the second entrance to County Road #703. We have a small Fulton’s Lodge sign at that turn. The Lodge is about a block after you make the turn. If County Road #1 turns to gravel before you turn, you just missed the turn by about 100 feet. If your GPS tries to take you on a different route, ignore it. The route that GPS units like is called “Monkey Run”, and most folks find it a little scary.
Continue through Gassville on 62. Turn right on County Road #1 (Denton Ferry Road). As you’re approaching this turn you will see a sign for Wildcat Shoals Fishing Access. After 7 ½ miles, turn left on County Road #703. #703 is a loop road near the river so it has two entrances to County Road #1. The second entrance is the shortest, and we have a sign on that corner. The Lodge is about 1/4 mile on the right. If you miss the turn on to #703, County Road #1 will turn to gravel within 100 feet.
