FAQs / COVID Contingency

New York State has not announced any new steps or stages for COVID progression. As it stands now though, we are on track to proceed as planned with the use of two ballroom spaces as needed. Please continue to check here and the Home page for updates.
Question

Dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire Men: Suit / Sport Coat Women: Cocktail dress / long dress

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! We had always intended to include families as much as possible, but understand the challenge during this time. We plan to have a kids menu option available at the reception. If you'd like the night off, we've been told it is best to try Care.com. We'll be looking into it as well, so feel free to check in with us. If we're further restricted in guest numbers by COVID, we'll communicate through Home page updates ASAP.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Invitations should have "and Guest" if so and we aim to accommodate guests whenever possible. Once again, if we're further restricted in numbers by COVID we will let everyone know ASAP through the Home page updates.

Question

What are Belhurst Castle's COVID-19 policies?

Answer

Please see: https://www.belhurst.com/covid-19/ Belhurst Castle may notify you of current travel restrictions, but is not liable beyond that notification. We will update you here if we learn anything new.

Question

Can I attend the ceremony only?

Answer

If you RSVP "Will Attend", there is now an option for "No meal - ceremony only" if you so choose listed under the drop down menu for "Select Meal Option". Please feel free to join us for the outdoor ceremony only if that makes you more comfortable during this time. We understand how difficult these decisions are and want everyone to feel as safe and comfortable as possible. If the ceremony is moved indoors due to inclement weather, it will be managed so that it still adheres to current New York State regulations. You are welcome to leave your mask on the entire time if you prefer. You can also choose if you'd like to attend the traditional cocktail party afterwards and stay as socially distant as desired. Your presence at our ceremony will be considered just as wonderful as attending the entire event.
