What is the dress code?

Answer

Beach cocktail wedding attire is recommended. The ceremony will take place on the beach. Cocktail hour will move up to the lower wooden deck. The reception will take place at the Blue Bar Restaurant. These are all located together in the same place and do not require any transportation.

What is the weather like in December on Harbour Island?

Answer

The daytime highs average around 80°F with the nighttime lows dropping to about 70°F.

How do I get to North Eleuthera?

Answer

Most people will probably have a layover in Miami or Fort Lauderdale. Regardless of where the layover is, the important part is the final destination airport of North Eleuthera.

How do I get around the island if I am not staying at Pink Sands Resort?

Answer

The main method of transportation on this 3 mile island is golf carts.

When should I book my room?

Answer

The sooner the better! December starts to become busy season for Harbour Island and therefore the Resort and surrounding hotels will start to book up. The room block for Pink Sands Resort ends on September 30, 2026 and any cottages that are not confirmed will be made available to the public.

Can I use a credit card/ US dollar on Harbour Island?

Answer

During your stay on Harbour Island, most (if not all) restaurants and hotels accept credit cards. In addition all stores and restaurants welcome cash (US dollar). I would recommend bringing some cash if you plan to tip for any extra services that may be provided for you!
