FAQs and COVID-19 Updates

Question

Is the wedding still happening with COVID-19?

Answer

Not in Hawaii. We plan to keep it very small and elope with family. Once things are safer and restrictions lower, then we will have a reception in OR.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 1st, 2019 so we can start finalizing plans, a.k.a. make sure you’ll be well fed!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive anywhere from 3pm - 3:30pm so you can get a drink and enjoy the views before the ceremony at 4pm.

Question

Can we bring kids?

Answer

At first we said no...but since pregnancy has spread like wildfire among our group of friends and we caught the bug as well...it's a resounding yes! If enough people are bringing their children I am thinking of hiring a couple of babysitters.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Look fly in what ever makes you comfortable that isn’t Jorts and a fishnet top. Sundresses and Hawaiian shirts are preferred.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying at an AirBnB or VBRO between the towns of Laie - Kailua as most of the hotels are in Honolulu which is an hour + drive away. There is a Marriott in Laie for you fancy folk.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be ample parking but we would still suggest carpooling if you can.

Question

What if we can’t make it?

Answer

Too bad Sooo Sad and you're cut out of the Will.

For all the days along the way
