We recommend staying in AirBnbs, VRBOs, or other home stays around the New Ulm area. If you would prefer to stay in a hotel, we recommend staying in Brenham, TX (30 minutes north of New Ulm) or Round Top, TX (20 minutes northwest of New Ulm). Please note that we do not have a hotel room block.
At this time, we are not planning on providing shuttle services. If you would like to arrange transportation to and from the wedding, we recommend contacting Dave at david@transconsultants.com. Options include: SUV - The hourly rate for the SUV would come in at $100.00 per hour + 2 hours of travel time on each end of the trip. The 12 Passenger executive vans or 13 passenger sprinter vans would both run at $135.00 per hour + 2 hours of travel time on each end of the trip.
Yes! When you enter Sandy Creek Ranch, you will be directed to park on a grassy lawn/pasture. Please consider this when thinking about vehicles & shoes. SUVs are encouraged.
Semi-formal or formal western attire. We suggest cocktail attire with a western flare! Please do not wear jeans. Remember, it will be February in Texas and temperatures tend to dip a bit at night so you might want to bring a jacket or wrap. However, there will also be heaters to help keep guests warm. Need inspiration? We suggesting looking at Ralph Lauren or Pinto Ranch for inspiration.
Please remember this is a working cattle ranch and you will so stilettos are not advised, rather opt for boots, a block heel, wedges or flats. You are also welcome to bring a change of clothes for the after-party: jeans, cowboy boots, or whatever you find comfortable!
Unfortunately, no. This is an adult only wedding. We love your kids but our venue is not always kid friendly. There will be an open, un attended pool and a number of animals who aren't always kind to tiny hands.
We are so flattered you would travel to be part of this celebration. Please do not feel obligated to gift us anything! If you feel so inclined we would encourage you to donate to one of the not-for-profits we have listed. We have supported Boys & Girls Country for a few years and are part of their young professionals organization. Rescue Houston is an anti-human trafficking organization Kelsey has volunteered with twice a week for nearly two years. Both mean so much to us! If you would like to give a physical gift, we are registered at Bering's in Houston.
