FAQs

Question

Are There Any Travel Requirements For Aruba?

Answer

Yes. Since our wedding is taking place outside of the United States, a valid passport is required for travel. If you don't have one yet (or need to renew), we recommend starting the process early to avoid any delays - some applications can take several weeks to process. In addition to a passport, every traveler (adults and kids) must complete the Aruba Embarkation and Disembarkation (ED) Card online within 7 days before your flights. It's required to board and enter Aruba. There is a $20 Sustainability Fee automatically added when submitting your ED Card (for travelers 8+). Please visit https://www.aruba.com/us/traveler-health-requirements for more details.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with all our favorite people in paradise all weekend long! We would love for you to join in on all the fun we have planned! We'll be spending our days on the beach soaking up the sun before the evening festivities. Come say hi, grab a drink and relax with us. On Friday night, we will be officially kicking off the party in the Marriott Stellaris Casino for a night of luck, laughter and maybe a jackpot (fingers crossed)! On Saturday, we will be hosting a sunset cruise from 5:30pm-7:30pm for all guests. Please meet at the Jolly Pirate Gift Shop, located next to Moomba Beach. Be sure to arrive by no later than 5:15pm. Please note, a waiver is required for all guests. Sunday is the main event - our wedding celebration! The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. Please meet in the Marriott Lobby at 5pm where you’ll be escorted out to Vela Beach. Be sure to arrive on time to ensure you don't miss a thing! It's going to be an unforgettable weekend!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please visit the travel tab. Guests may stay within the preferred hotel block or may explore other hotels in the area or a rental property via Airbnb or Vrbo.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are excited to kickoff the festivities on Friday night with a Casino Night! We can't wait to see everyone's resort attire. Think airy sundresses, stylish rompers, or breezy linen sets for women, and lightweight trousers, linen shirts, or polos for men. Dress it up if you’d like—heels, wedges, or polished sandals are all welcome. For Saturday's Sunset Cruise, the vibe is resort casual. Light and breezy is best - sundresses, rompers, linen shirts, polos or shorts. Opt for comfortable sandals or boat shoes (boat friendly footwear over heels). A light sweater or wrap is recommended to stay cozy with the evening breeze. For guests who would like to try the rope swing, we recommend wearing a swimsuit underneath their outfit or bring one to change into. For Sunday, our ceremony will take place on the beach, so we're keeping things elegant but relaxed with beach formal/elevated resort attire. For women, flowy maxi dresses, cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits are perfect. Men are welcome to wear button-downs and slacks. Jackets and ties are welcome but not required. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing shorts, jeans or denim. We recommend light, breathable fabrics and sun-friendly colors to stay cool and comfortable while still celebrating in style! The ceremony and reception will take place outside so you may want to bring a light layer for after the sun goes down.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than Wednesday, April 1, 2026. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend. We will miss you celebrating with us, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Should I Stay Longer?

Answer

We are so excited you're traveling to celebrate with us. We will be hosting wedding related activities Friday, Saturday and Sunday but we encourage you to extend your stay and enjoy everything this beautiful island has to offer! Whether you come early, stay late or both, we'd love for you to make the most of your time in paradise. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones and are so happy to welcome children at both our ceremony and reception! That said, Friday's Casino Night and the after-party will be a late night, adults only celebration. We hope this gives you time to enjoy the best of both worlds - some beautiful family-filled activities mixed in with some grown up fun!

Question

Can I bring a date or guest?

Answer

Due to space limitations and our desire to keep the celebrate intimate, we're only able to accommodate the guests that receive formal invitations. If you received a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP section of the website. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Will There Be an Open Bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you - so get ready to party!

Question

Is There An After Party?

Answer

The celebration does not end when the reception does! We'll keep the drinks flowing and the vibes alive with an unofficial after party. Wherever the party takes us, we hope you'll join us!
