Things To Do

River Street Marketplace

31856 Paseo Adelanto, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675

Situated in the heart of San Juan Capistrano’s historic Los Rios District, River Street Marketplace is a destination deeply rooted in the region’s rich past. As the oldest neighborhood in California, Los Rios carries a legacy that dates back to the founding of Mission San Juan Capistrano in 1776. Drawing inspiration from the site’s agricultural history, the marketplace was designed as a charming campus of boutique retail and restaurants that blend heritage with modern experiences.

Los Rios Street Historic District

31831 Los Rios Street, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675

In San Juan Capistrano, you can visit the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano, explore the charming Los Rios Historic District with its quaint shops and homes, enjoy family-friendly activities at Zoomars Petting Zoo, have a meal at acclaimed restaurants like Heritage Barbecue, or venture into nature at Ronald W. Caspers Wilderness Park. Other attractions include the San Juan Capistrano Depot, the Old Barn Antique Mall, and various parks and cultural sites.

Swallow's Inn

31786 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675

We know our wedding guests enjoy a good dive bar as much as a cold drink, so we highly recommend making a stop at Swallow’s Dive Bar in San Juan Capistrano. With its effortlessly cool vibe, tasty cocktails, and welcoming crowd, it’s the perfect place to kick back, swap stories, and toast to a weekend of celebration in style

The Tea House on Los Rios

31731 Los Rios Street, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675

Originally a quaint cottage, The Tea House was lovingly restored by the Niccola family in the 1990s. You can order items on the menu a la carte, however, we highly recommend doing one of the High Tea Experiences—each experience includes their signature black currant scone, a variety of finger sandwiches, dessert, and of course, your choice of 50+ teas.
