What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal attire. Our wedding colors are purple, green, and black, so guests are welcome to incorporate those colors if they’d like, but it is absolutely not required. Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, button-downs, slacks, ties, or suits. Since portions of the wedding will take place outdoors, we recommend comfortable shoes and avoiding very thin heels if possible.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour where guests can mingle and enjoy the scenery. Dinner, dancing, and the remainder of the reception will take place indoors. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl in case the evening gets chilly.

Where should I stay?
Answer
We have a travel page on this website with some hotel recommendations to help make planning easy! There are also several great Airbnb and Vrbo rentals throughout the area. We recommend staying either near Lake Oconee or in historic Covington, Georgia. In the Lake Oconee area you can enjoy a relaxing lake weekend with boating, watersports, golf, shopping, and public beach access. Covington is famous for being the filming location of several shows and movies like The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Sweet Magnolias, Remember the Titans, and Sweet Home Alabama. Covington is located about 35 minutes from the wedding venue. While in Covington you can explore the charming downtown square, visit local boutiques and antique shops, enjoy guided filming location tours, and grab a delicious dinner at the Mystic Grill.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
Please RSVP by October 1st so we can finalize seating, catering, and other wedding details. We kindly ask that all guests respond by this date, whether attending or not.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes! The venue has ample on-site parking available for guests, and parking will be free. You will not need a parking pass or shuttle service.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. We recommend arriving at least 20–30 minutes early to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled before the ceremony begins. We want everyone relaxed and ready to celebrate with us!

Are children invited?
Answer
While we absolutely love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us. Thank you so much for understanding!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Partially. We will be providing beer, wine, and a selection of signature cocktails for guests to enjoy throughout the evening. Please celebrate responsibly and make safe travel arrangements if needed.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?
Answer
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue, so there will be no need to travel between locations. Once you arrive, you can settle in and enjoy the evening with us.
