Is there transportation from Portland to the wedding venue (Bridal Veil Lakes)?
Answer
Yes, we are providing shuttles to and from the venue. Pickup location in Portland at 1265 Lloyd Center, 97232. There is parking at the shuttle pickup location, and also a Max Red Line stop (Lloyd Center/NE 11th) a short walk away. We recommend that folks take the shuttles because the road up to the venue is single lane, unpaved, poorly lit, and curvy. However, there is also plenty of parking at the venue if you’d prefer to drive.

We kindly ask all guests to be fully vaccinated and boosted to attend. We also ask that folks bring masks to wear on the shuttles to and from the venue and in the venue’s bathrooms.

If I’m traveling from out of town, where should I stay?
Answer
We you recommend you stay in Portland even though the wedding is in the Columbia River Gorge at Bridal Veil Lakes. There is a ton to do in Portland, and we will be providing a shuttle to and from the wedding venue, with pick up and drop off in Portland. We have included a few hotels in the travel section of our website, but we are not blocking rooms at any hotels. If you want recommendations for a cool part of town to stay in, feel free to reach out!

Dress is summer soirée. Basically, dress for a summer forest party. We want everyone to be comfortable! We suggest bringing layers because the venue is entirely outdoors. The venue is also grassy and hilly, so we suggest flats, wedges, and chunky heels over stilettos or pumps.

Will there be gluten-free and vegan options?
Answer
Yes! We will have a taco buffet from Por Que No featuring both vegan and gluten-free options. Kelsey and her mom will also make several gluten-free and vegan treats for dessert.

Are kids invited?
Answer
We love your kiddos, but please leave them at home. If you’re a parent traveling from out of state, we’re happy to help you find babysitting arrangements for the night of the wedding. Please reach out in advance.
