Abel and I met on a dating website in 2015 while I was traveling through Pocatello on my way to Montana to visit family. Although we lived in different places, we stayed in touch over the years, and in 2020 we traveled together to California to visit Abel Sr. Shortly after that trip, we began dating. In 2021, Abel moved to Boise so we could finally end the long-distance chapter of our relationship. In September 2023, Abel proposed in a moment that completely surprised me—I had no idea it was coming, especially since I was the one who suggested we do a photoshoot that day. Over the past two years, Abel and I have been saving up tp create the wedding of our dreams, and I am so grateful for the love, commitment, and future we are building together.
