We met in the sweetest, most unexpected way—by sharing the same birthday. It started off simple: a few “happy birthday” texts here and there, nothing too serious… just two people crossing paths on the same special day. Then early 2021 came along, and so did the official “talking stage.” Michael was ready for dates immediately, and Kelsea? Not so much at first, He kept asking, she kept saying no… until an iconic invitation to an iCarly date night changed everything. (Yes, that was the turning point.) After that, “no” turned into “maybe,” maybe turned into hangouts, and hangouts turned into something we didn’t want to end. On March 25, 2021, we finally made it official—and everything just clicked from there. Since then, we’ve been on every kind of adventure together—traveling, concerts, amusement parks, late-night food runs, and all the little in-between moments that turned into our favorite memories. Life has felt fuller, louder, and a whole lot more fun with each other in it. Then came December 26, 2024, at Magic Kingdom in Disney World, where Michael got down on one knee and asked Kelsea to forever. In the most magical place, it was an easy “yes”—the kind you dream about long before it happens. We came home overflowing with love, calls to our family and friends, and so much excitement for what was next. By January 2025, we had already found our wedding venue on the very first visit—and somehow just knew it was meant to be. Now we’re here, counting down the days to forever, feeling incredibly grateful for every step that led us here… and so excited for everything still to come. 💫
