A note about accommodations -
Unfortunately, one of the Major US golf tournaments is in town the weekend of the wedding so securing room blocks has been a challenge! If the below room blocks are full, any hotel north of the city of Pittsburgh would be a reasonable choice. There are quite a few hotels in Butler that simply didn't have enough availability for a block, but do still have rooms available.
Fortunately, Pittsburgh and the surrounding towns also have quite a few rental properties listed on AirBnB, VRBO, etc, that would be easier to reserve but require a further drive to the venue. Neighborhoods we are particularly familiar within Pittsburgh proper include Point Breeze, Shadyside, Lawrenceville, Squirrel Hill, East Liberty, the Strip District, and Bloomfield.
