We met over 10 years ago when we started our journey at the University of Minnesota. Both of us were placed into rooms in Centennial Hall where we also met many of our life-long friends. We became close over light-rail trips and soft-serve and cereal in the dining hall. On a sort of dare from her cousin Heather (our officiant), Sarah asked Jared out on New Years Eve 2016. We went skating for our first date in January, 2017. Sarah fell right away (literally she tripped and fell in the street seconds into the first date), and Jared wasn't too far behind. Fast forward to 6/6/2025 when Jared proposed in the Centen courtyard, right where our story began. We are excited to be taking this next step surrounded by all of our loved ones on the first anniversary of our engagement!
