KK's story: Our story is one of those meant to be kinda things. Starting in 2015, we were always around each other, we just didn't know it yet. We officially met in 2018, timing just wasn't right. Then 2020 came around and, for many, that was a very tough year but for us, it was when we fell in love. Some of our best friends had just bought a house so we happened to be there at the same time celebrating this fun chapter in their lives. I remember hearing his infectious laugh and seeing that big dimple smile for the first time and he had me. Then he started making me bottomless quesadillas, it was game over... We were limited on things we could do at first, we couldn't really go on dates or travel anywhere fun. But we definitely made the best of it. Everything about us just felt right, it was so easy. Like he was meant to be there all along. We moved in together the same year and the rest is history! Although our love story is a bit unconventional, I wouldn't have it any other way. We have created the most beautiful life together, we grow everyday, and it's only getting better. Now we get to share this life we have created with our beautiful baby boy who is the biggest blessing in our lives. Rio's Story: 2020 was a strange, uncomfortable, out of the norm year for so many but for us it was just the beginning. Yes we had met in 2018 and had even been a house apart back in 2015 on certain occasions but 2020 was the year for us. I would like to say thank you to our best friends for growing up and buying their own home which finally brought us together once again. From there it was history! Without hesitation we were living together by the end of the year and it never felt better. With the pandemic being in full effect all we really could do was be with each other and to this day I don’t think we’ve gone more than a handful of days being away from each other! To that I say thank you pandemic… you brought me so close to the love of my life that we literally could not leave each others side. As we continue to grow as individuals and as one our love will continue to grow stronger for each other. We have grown from just us two to bringing in our amazing bubba! Now we will join the Rodriguez’s and Ritchey’s and our family will grow bigger than ever. I can’t wait to see what this world has in store for us and how we will continue to accept the challenges it brings us! Watch out!!! We are so thankful to have all of our favorite people in one place celebrating this special day with us. Now let the party begin!!!
