FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kelsey Kammeraad and Morgan Robinson
You've got questions, we've got answers! (Well, kinda– wedding planning is a whole thing and we're still figuring some of this out!) Feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions you don't see on this list.
Question

Are there any other wedding events?

Answer

Yes! We are planning a few events on Saturday (6/6) to make the most of this special weekend with you! We'll have a few optional activities throughout the weekend, and you are invited to explore Holland and make the most of your trip. See the "Schedule" tab for more details.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We LOVE your kiddos! However, we are hosting a kid-free wedding. Please feel free to bring your littles to any other wedding-weekend events. If you are traveling from out of town and would like assistance with setting up childcare during the wedding, reach out to Kelsey.

Question

What's there to do in Michigan?

Answer

So glad that you asked! We encourage any of our out-of-town guests to make a weekend (or more!) out of the trip to explore the lake towns along the Michigan coast. There are fabulous beaches and sand dunes, charming shops and cafés, and plenty of beautiful sights to see during a Michigan summer. They don't call it Pure Michigan for nothin'. Go to the "Things to Do" tab for a travel guide built just for you!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

If you're coming in for the weekend, we recommend staying in Holland– it'll charm your socks off! Our pre-wedding weekend activities will take place in Holland, and we'll have plenty of ideas for how to explore around town. We have a hotel + AirBnb Recommendations on the "Travel" tab! The wedding will be in Grand Rapids (where the airport is located, 45 min from Holland). If you plan to fly out early on Monday, we recommend booking a hotel in Grand Rapids on Sunday, 6/7 (after the wedding), for a more convenient exit.

Question

Should we rent a car?

Answer

There's plenty to see and do around West Michigan, and the easiest way to get around is by car! Uber/Lyft is an option, but for the most flexibility, we do recommend securing a rental car.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think formal garden party! We encourage color and summery floral prints, in cocktail/formal styles.
