FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by September 1st 2023. If you cannot attend, you will be dearly missed, and we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Those that do not RSVP by 9.1.2023 - we are so sorry you cannot make it! If you miss this date, we won’t be able to accommodate your presence at the wedding, as we will send final headcount’s to vendors shortly after this deadline.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unless specified on your formal invitation, we ask you do not bring a guest due to venue restrictions. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We are requesting a semi- formal dress code for our evening. Gentlemen - suit jacket or sports coat with slacks or khakis. Tie optional, no jeans please! Ladies - Floor-length, tea-length or midi formal dresses. Elegant jumpsuits. Wearing black is highly encouraged & please don’t wear any shade of ivory and/ or white. ; ) Additionally, the grass lawn is soft so re-think stilettos!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love all of your little ones! However, due to many factors including limited space, we respectfully request no children with the exception of our daughter. We hope this can give everyone the chance to enjoy a stress free date night!

Question

Is the ceremony/ reception outside?

Answer

The venue is completely outdoors, but the reception will be under a roof with heaters and a tent if needed. We will be getting married at the arbor unless it rains, if it does the ceremony will take place under the gazebo. We recommend a light jacket for the evening.

Question

How does seating work?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating so sit wherever you please. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one or partner). We know weddings are a mixing pot of guests who may not know one another, and we want to ease any anxieties for guest who may be a bit more introverted. Hopefully, this can put some of you at ease!

Question

Since there will be alcohol, what do we do about driving?

Answer

We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. Reflections at Tioga Gardens (of course) agrees. As such, they allow guests to leave their vehicles overnight at the venue and pick them up by 12:00pm (noon) the next day. We encourage Uber, Lyft or getting a ride with a sober friend.
