As most of you know Dale and Caitlin graduated from high school together. However, they aren't exactly high school sweethearts. It wasn't until four years after high school that Caitlin and Dale were going to reconnect! Caitlin was attending Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dale was working in the Labors' Union on night shift in Philadelphia. Dale messaged Caitlin on Facebook asking where free parking was in the city. Caitlin's response, there isn't such a thing! They infrequently messaged each back and forth on Facebook, until Caitlin graduated from college. Dale asked for her number, which she was eagerly waiting to give. The two talked all summer long- Caitlin was busy studying for her Nursing boards and trying to find a Nursing job. Dale was busy working overtime. In the fall of 2015 Caitlin and Dale finally were able to go on their first date at no other place but The Clubhouse Bar & Grille in Newtown, PA. Dale and Caitlin started officially dating February 2, 2016.

Dale and Caitlin were vacationing in Maine to visit Acadia National Park. They enjoyed hiking and biking throughout the entire park. They also enjoyed the coffee shops, bars, and restaurants throughout Bar Harbor, Maine! They were constantly watching the weather due to the severe fog blocking their gorgeous hiking views. After weather watching they saw Wednesday July 12th was going to be the clearest and sunniest day. They had be wanting to see the sunrise at the top of Cadillac Mountain. In order to do so you had to reserve tickets and they were lucky enough to do so! That morning they woke up at 3AM in order to see the start of the sunrise. They headed towards the mountain to secure the perfect spot. They watched the sun come up and started to snap pictures of the sun, each other, and of course selfies. A couple sitting nearby asked, "If I take a photo of you two, will you take one of us?" Dale eagerly said yea, that would be great! Standing in front of the sunrise for the perfect picture- Dale got down on one knee and asked Caitlin to marry him! Of course she said, yes! The woman taking the photo was in as much disbelief as Caitlin. Even though the woman taking the photo had NO idea what Dale was about to do, she managed to get every shot of the proposal! Dale and Caitlin couldn't wait to share the news with their family and friends.
