Erin scored a last minute ticket to the Disclosure show in October 2013 with our mutual friend, Stephen Perry. Perry mentioned that his friend / roommate, Matt, would also be accompanying them. Erin obviously had to do some recon via a casual Facebook stalk -- she approved of the third wheel. After pre-gaming at her friend Anna's apartment, they all took an Uber to Terminal West for the show, where Erin and Matt were able to talk a little more. Matt's dry and somewhat twisted sense of humor intrigued Erin. The rest of the night is somewhat of a rainbow-filled blur, but it ended with Erin's dog, Chloe, and Matt reenacting the spaghetti scene from "Lady & The Tramp". Super romantic. The following day, Erin jokingly told a few friends that she was going to marry Matt one day. Damn, Erin loves being right. After the Disclosure show, Matt and Erin didn't see each other for a few months, but that all changed in early 2014 when their friends met up at a Classixx concert. The show turned into a late night stop in Edgewood, which turned into an even later night stop at Steak 'n Shake. Erin and Matt spent a good portion of the evening getting to know one another, and Matt was really able to win Erin over by saving her from a misdirected tongue lashing. Two weeks later, they decided to purposefully run into each other at the The Ivy to watch college football with their friends. The following day, Matt asked Erin on a proper date. And as they say, the rest is history.
