It all started at a boba restaurant called "M & H Cafe." Chris worked as a manager and was handling Kelly's order. Kelly thought that Chris was someone she knew in middle school and was excited to greet him. "Hello, I don't know if you remember me, but it is so great to see you again, Patrick." Chris looked at Kelly with confusion. "I'm not Patrick, I am Chris. Patrick is another employee that is shorter than me". Super embarrassed, Kelly finished her order and fled the shop to never return... But the boba was just too damn good. Kelly became busy because of nursing school shenanigans and didn't go to the restaurant for a while. Even though it was one visit, Kelly made an impression on Chris. Chris eventually found Kelly on social media, and added her. And Kelly did eventually return... this time with nursing friends. Unfortunately Kelly and her nursing crew almost ran Chris over as he was leaving work. Fortunately, years of playing ninja finally paid off. He dodged the car and gave them a thumbs up, signaling he survived. Then minutes later, Chris messaged Kelly on Facebook, which led to getting each other's phone numbers, to messaging and calling, to a puppy, and from there, the rest was history. They were in love. On September 10, 2022, Chris proposed to Kelly at Disney Springs, at the front of the "Fall into Magic" Sign. Chris and Kelly are excited to say their "I do's" on April 26, 2024 in front of all their families and friends.
