What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire. We invite men to wear a suit or sport coat and dress pants, and women to wear a knee or midi-length cocktail dress. As the ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, block heels or wedges are recommended.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle to and from both Middletown accommodations, the Howard Johnson and The Pell – JVD by Hyatt. Uber and Lyft are also easily accessible throughout the Newport area!

What time is the shuttle?

Answer

Shuttles to the ceremony at Newport Vineyard will begin boarding at 5:20 PM and depart promptly at 5:30 PM from both The Pell and Howard Johnson. The return shuttle to the hotels (and potentially downtown Newport) will begin boarding at 11:30 PM and depart promptly at 11:40 PM.

We’ll have a full open bar and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Dinner will be chef-attended, station-style. Please note any dietary needs when you RSVP. We’ll do our best to accommodate!

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, we're planning for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, followed by an indoor reception.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for your understanding.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to allow for seating and to ensure the ceremony begins promptly.
