Formal Attire! We suggest men wear a suit and women wear a cocktail dress or formal pantsuit.
While we love your little ones, we politely request that children outside the wedding party do not attend the reception. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and we look forward to celebrating with you!
The weather in Georgia can vary greatly. Typically, Novembers in GA can average anywhere between 55-75 degrees and can be humid. Keep in mind that the ceremony and reception will be held indoors, while cocktail hour will be outside (weather permitting).
Yes, both Holy Trinity and Vinewood Stables have their own designated parking spaces. For our reception, there will be a parking attendant to help guide guests on where to park.
For starters, you do not have to be Catholic to attend the Mass! All are welcome to celebrate this sacrament with us. The Mass will start with standing, singing, sitting, and listening to readings from the Bible. The priest will also give a homily after the readings. In the middle of the Mass, the bride and groom will share their vows and rings with each other. Then the Mass continues with communion, or the Eucharist; this part involves more standing and kneeling and responding in prayer. If you are uncomfortable with kneeling, or physically unable to do so, you are welcome to remain seated during this time. If you are not Catholic, you can choose to receive a blessing- by walking forward with your arms crossed on your chest so each hand rests on the opposite shoulder- or you can remain at your seat during communion. Whichever you are most comfortable with!
We ask that guests turn off their cell phones during our ceremony out of respect for the sanctity of the Mass. But don't worry! We have hired a wonderful photographer and videographer for our special day. Guests are asked to be present in the moment, enjoy the day, and leave the pictures to the pros!
