Kelly's Perspective ENGLISH We met 3 and a half years ago in Lubbock, TX at the AIM Camp Adventure. He was an AIMer and I was a camper. I found him wildly attractive but I wasn't looking for a relationship at the time! I didn't think much about him until 10 months later when I was an AIMer and he was on his mission field. We had another camp and he came to help with it. As soon as I saw him I remember getting super nervous all of a sudden, like I wanted to impress him. He came up and talked to me and I was practically shaking! That weekend, I watched him closely and I saw how much of a spiritual leader and a man of God he was and I fell for him so fast! At the end, he invited me to go to the gym with him and I panicked. I couldn't believe he wanted me to go with him! But we had a great time and neither of us wanted it to end, so once we finished the workout he asked if I'd go to Starbucks with him. And of course I said yes. It was there that we both admitted we liked each other :) ESPAÑOL Nos conocimos hace 3 años y medio en Lubbock, TX en el Campamento AIM "camp adventure". Él era un AIMer y yo era un camper. Me pareció tremendamente atractivo, pero en aquel momento no estaba buscando una relación. No pensé mucho en él hasta 10 meses después cuando yo era una AIMer y él estaba en su campo misionero. Teníamos otro campamento y él vino a ayudarnos. En cuanto lo vi, me puse muy nerviosa, como si quisiera impresionarlo. Se acercó y me habló, ¡y yo estaba prácticamente temblando! Ese fin de semana lo observé de cerca y vi el gran líder espiritual y hombre de Dios que era, ¡y me enamoré de él tan rápido! Al final, me invitó a ir al gimnasio con él y entré en pánico. No podía creer que quisiera que fuera con él. Pero lo pasamos muy bien y ninguno de los dos quería que terminara, así que una vez que terminamos el entrenamiento me preguntó si quería ir a Starbucks con él. Y por supuesto le dije que sí. Fue allí donde los dos admitimos que nos gustábamos :)

Yair´s Perspective ENGLISH I was really focused on my classes and studying for AIM, so when I met her at the first camp, even though we had good chemistry and she was pretty, I didn't make a move. I needed to be focused. But after some time, when she was part of the program as well, I thought we had a chance to maybe connect. I tried to get closer with her, but she seemed really cold at first. I thought she wasn't interested, but I wasn't going to give up, so I kept finding opportunities to "accidentally" be near her. Eventually she could no longer resist my charm and she started to laugh more than normal at my jokes and I could see she was nervous with me. I knew she was also into working out, so I thought it would be a great idea to have a gym date. Besides showing off throughout the workout, I also was able to make her laugh the whole time. Next to the gym there was a coffee shop, so to give the date a great ending, I asked her to go have a coffee. There I remember having one of the best conversations I have ever had in my life. I also helped her with her Spanish and it was the first time I could see myself marrying that princess. ESPAÑOL Estaba muy concentrado en mis clases y en estudiar para AIM, así que cuando la conocí en el primer campamento, aunque teníamos buena química y era muuuuuy guapa, no hice ningún intento. Necesitaba concentrarme. Pero después de un tiempo, cuando ella también formaba parte del programa, pensé que tendríamos una oportunidad de conectar. Intenté acercarme a ella, pero al principio me pareció muy fría. Pensé que no le interesaba, pero no iba a rendirme, así que seguí encontrando oportunidades para estar cerca de ella "accidentalmente". Al final no pudo resistirse a mi encanto y empezó a reírse más de lo normal con mis bromas y pude ver que se ponía nerviosa conmigo. Sabía que a ella también le gustaba el gimnasio, así que pensé que sería una gran idea tener una cita en el gym. Además de lucirme durante todo el entrenamiento, también conseguí hacerla reír todo el rato. Al lado del gimnasio había una cafetería, así que para darle un buen final a la cita, la invité a tomar un café. Allí recuerdo haber tenido una de las mejores conversaciones que he tenido en mi vida. También la ayudé con su español y fue la primera vez que sabia que me casaría con esta princesa.
