What should I wear?!

Answer

The attire is Semi-Formal/Cocktail Attire! Think bright summer pallet cocktail dresses (long or short), and slacks with a dress shirt (jackets optional). For the ladies, the sand at the ceremony site is packed so it can withstand block heels or wedges, but I'd skip the stilettos!

What is the weather like in South Lake in August?

Answer

It is typically warm and sunny during the day (low 80s) and will get down to the 50s by the end of the night. You will be nice and toasty during the day, but bring a shawl or sweater for the evening (alternative: dance for additional warmth).

What should I know about parking/transportation the day of the wedding?

Answer

There is extremely limited parking at the ceremony site. If you are staying at Base Camp Hotel, we will have a shuttle from the landing transport you to the ceremony site at 3:30. You can either plan to arrive at Base Camp early enough to hop on, or plan to be dropped off at the ceremony site by Uber or the free Lake Link shuttle service available in SLT. A shuttle will take our wedding party from the ceremony site to the boat dock and back to Base Camp at the end of the evening.

Do you have a registry?

We do not!The greatest gift to us is having our most important people join us in witness and celebration of our wedding. Leave the gifts behind and enjoy a fun and beautiful night with us! Really, we mean it!

Are there any other scheduled events?

Answer

There is not! We will be there Thursday through Sunday. If you arrive early you are welcome to come join us in town, or enjoy Lake Tahoe prior to the wedding. We can’t wait!
