FAQs

Question

Are children invited to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Due to the limited amount of space at the venues, we are not able to accommodate all of the children on our guest list. Therefore, your invitations will be addressed with exactly who is invited to the ceremony and reception. When you go to RSVP, it will also show only the people who are invited. Please do not bring anyone not outwardly stated on your RSVP because a seat and meal will not be reserved for them.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We don't have much of a dress code. We just ask you to dress in what you are comfortable in, as long as it is nice and wedding appropriate. However, there is one restriction. We ask you to please not wear jeans, if possible. This is a small request that the bride has made to maintain a certain aesthetic appeal.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

Unless your invitation outwardly expresses that you can bring a guest, then no. We want to have a small ceremony with some of our closest friends and family and want it to be as intimate as possible.

Question

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Answer

All RSVPs must be submitted through the website. if you do not RSVP online, we will assume you are not coming and not reserve a spot for you. It is easier for us to keep track of who has Rsvp'd and how many people are left to RSVP when the website is used to respond.

Question

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

Due to most of our guests living or having family that lives in town, we have not reserved any hotel rooms. Our reception location has hotel rooms on site. The Hampton Inn is also a good choice. If you think you will need a hotel room, you will be responsible for booking and paying for it yourself.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/reception?

Answer

You will not be permitted to take photos during the ceremony, but can during the reception, if desired. We hired a wonderful photographer that will capture all of the ceremony's joy and happiness. Cameras and phones can get in the way of the shots that the photographer takes. We invite you to be truly present in that moment with us.

Question

What happens between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bride and groom will venture off by themselves for 20-30 minutes to enjoy their first moments as a married couple, alone. After that, they will rejoin the party and enjoy a catered meal with all of their friends and family.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

All of the items that we have registered for have been added to the "registry" page on our website. We have not registered in any actual stores so you must go through the website in order to order a gift. You will simply be able to click on the gift and it will redirect you to the page you can purchase it from. The gift can be sent directly to us from the website. out address is programmed into the site for convenience reasons. sending the gift directly to us will allow you to save paper and preserve our earth. it'll also make sending thank yous easier since we can write them out as soon as we receive the gift.

Question

What meal will be served at the reception?

Answer

We have booked Brew to cater our reception. There will be a buffet of various breakfast items to choose from as well as a waffle bar and candy station that will be available all evening for your snacking desires. More details will be added once we know more specifics so check back often.

Question

What is your address used to send gifts?

Answer
