The dark green St. Charles streetcar is the oldest continuously operating streetcar line in the world and it runs through one of the most iconic, oak-lined streets in New Orleans. There are many streetcar stops on St. Charles Avenue. Just simply wait at a stop on the "neutral ground" (in the middle) of St. Charles Avenue and a streetcar will stop to pick you up! Streetcars run every 15 minutes. Quick Tip: A one way trip on the St. Charles Streetcar Line is $1.25 in EXACT change.
