Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code will be business casual/semi-formal meaning women should wear knee length or ankle length dresses or jumpsuits. Please do not wear white. For men, a nice suit or button up shirt and slacks. Spring colors are welcomed/encouraged for guests! Please no casual/ street wear.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will take place outdoors, the cocktail hour will be indoors (with the ability to move around outside as well), and the reception will be held indoors. March is usually beginning to warm up in Virginia, but may be slightly chilly. We recommend keeping an eye on the weather and dressing accordingly in case of unexpected conditions. In the event there is inclement weather, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! When you RSVP, please let us know whether you’ll be bringing a plus one so we can plan accordingly. If both your name and your guest’s name are already listed on the invitation, there’s no need to mention it again — we’ve already got you both covered!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat! There will be parking available onsite at the venue!

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we adore children, we’ve decided to keep our celebration adults-only, aside from a few members of the bridal party. We kindly ask that you RSVP only for those named on your invitation.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. Please do not record videos, take pictures or use live during our ceremony. We want you to be present with us in the moment. We will have a professional photographer to capture the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, please feel free to take pictures and videos during the reception!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be drinks during the cocktail hour and dinner, as well as the party! Please drink responsibility and find a safe ride home! We do ask that you do not bring your own alcohol into the venue, as there is a strict policy on licensed bartending only!

Is there a registry?

Answer

Yes, we will have an Amazon registry available to view on our website! We also welcome monetary contributions, which can be placed in a designated box at the reception. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
